Personal interests
I absolutely LOVE all kinds of music! Due to being located in East TN right now, I tend to play country and bluegrass styles for shows. :) I am a singer and fiddle player in a show in Pigeon Forge, TN. I have also played and sung at Dollywood, as well as the Country Tonite and American Jukebox Theaters for the Smoky Mountain Cowboy Church. The instruments that I play include the fiddle, mandolin, guitar, some piano, and flute. I have been told that I have a voice that favors Alison Krauss. Although I like to sing her covers, my songwriting has been leading me in a different direction with my style. I write my own stuff and am starting to do some shows around Knoxville with my own music. Vocally, my style favors Colbie Caillat mixed with Alison Krauss. My songwriting favors John Mayer in that I talk about real emotions and offer up encouragement through the lyrics. I have written Contemporary Christian, Country, Rock, Pop, Bluegrass, Gospel, and even Rap. I have songs that fall under all of these genres.
Anyway, I don't mean to talk on and on about me, but I guess I should in order for you to know if I am what you are looking for. So, basically, music and the dreams I have of changing people's lives through it, are my biggest passions. :) I love the arts: music and acting. I love expressing myself creatively.
Aside from music, I love to play sports as well. The Maryville College tennis team ranked me as the #1 player for 2 years. I stopped playing competitively for college in order to focus on music and my education. I have played competitive tennis for about 12 years. I love it...it's a great sport. Traveling and playing in tennis tournaments, including Southerns, brought my mom and me many fun memories throughout my childhood on in to high school. As far as other sports: I have been involved in T-ball, softball, basketball, volleyball, and done cheerleading. I was a busy little girl. haha. :)
I love to challenge myself and work hard to make myself better. If an opportunity comes my way, I always try to put forth the best effort possible to make whatever I'm doing a success. I will give my all, as I have with everything else I have done in the past. I will be very enthusiastic about the job. :)
Hi, how is it going? Thanks 4 stopping by. Everything's ok here. Back 2 school n busy again same old stuff..lol..I'm focusing more now on my school works. How about u? Any luck yet? Good luck n take care.....Jessica:)
